I really needed the up and down scrolling for the menus. Would it be possible just to apply the up and down scrolling to another jQuery menu? I’m building a website that has some massive menus that extend beyond the page and this would be incredibly useful!

I’ve fix it… for the community this was what I did:

var $defaultOption = base.$select.find(‘option:first’).html();
base.$el.$headline = $(“”).addClass(“scrollectbox-headline”)
.html($defaultOption).appendTo(base.$el);

This doesn’t work with jquery 1.6.3 … I think one of the problems is using attr() instead of prop(), still I’ve changed it and it still doesn’t work properly (default option appears like option:first)… any clues?
